MetLife Bilingual IT Service Delivery Specialist in Cary, North Carolina
Role Value Proposition:
The Service Delivery team is responsible for facilitating end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure services and ensuring effective communication/coordination of IT service delivery activities, issue management, and reporting of operational performance requirements.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has a broad understanding of IT infrastructure services and has proven experience in IT operations, relationship management, and project management and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day-to-day operation and delivery of the IT infrastructure services.
Oversee and manage service delivery demand, performance, and risk remediation.
Facilitate communication between US teams and other global IT teams.
Communicate application and infrastructure requirements.
Coordinate project deployment activities.
Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
Communicate and escalate client needs to hosting country teams for resolution.
Manage high-priority IT infrastructure projects.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
5 years of equivalent technical work experience.
Broad experience with and knowledge of IT infrastructure services (hosting, storage, mainframe, network, voice, database, etc.)
Knowledge of ITIL processes.
Preferred:
Project management and/or vendor management experience is a plus.
Must be able to work off-hour shifts, on-call, and some weekend hours.
Knowledge/ experience with Azure DevOps.
Portuguese language skills are a plus.
