MetLife Executive Assistant in New York, New York
The Opportunity:
The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing executive administrative support to the SVP, LATAM CFO. This position requires excellent judgement, attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to prioritize workload in a complex, fast-moving environment. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Expected to maintain confidentiality and exhibit a high level of discretion and professionalism.
How You'll Help Us Build A Confident Future:
Effectively manage Microsoft Outlook calendar and address book.
Schedule and coordinate meetings/conference calls; prepare related materials / correspondence.
Manage domestic and complex international travel and accommodation arrangements.
Process expense reports involving currency conversion and vendor invoices for reimbursement/payments and reconciliation.
Interface with senior leaders, executive assistants of senior leaders, at all levels of the organization, both within and outside the company.
Coordinate various on-site and off-site meetings and engage with Conference & Event Planning.
Maintains documents and records following administrative policies, handling confidential and sensitive information.
Respond to inquiries for information and provide follow-up on requests to ensure resolution.
Assist in the central coordination of the Strategy and Planning team deliverables.
Maintain organization charts and Officer’s bio.
What You Need to Succeed:
Required:
7+ years of related experience.
Strong PC skills, including high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, WebEx, and internet skills.
Extremely organized with a sense of urgency.
Strong judgement in prioritizing meetings and managing calendar effectively by gaining knowledge of business priorities.
Highly professional in presence, interpersonal skills and communication (oral and written).
Organization savvy, demonstrating an ease with interacting professionally - at senior levels - within and across functional teams.
Ability to independently anticipate needs, look ahead, plan for contingencies, manage concurrent tasks, prioritize tasks and follow-up. Ability to recognize opportunities to improve and stream-line processes.
Discretion in handling confidential materials/information.
