The Brand Customer Insights & Analytics Manager will be responsible for the management of end-to-end market research and advancement of next gen analytics to inform brand strategy, reputation, and drive business growth. Brand consideration will be a fundamental component of the evolved enterprise strategy customer commitment measurement and the role will be responsible to develop and manage a consistent brand measurement and analytics practice, enabling deep and actionable insights to inform brand strategy. This person brings intellectual curiosity and problem-solving skills to turn research data into brand recommendations and actions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manages E2E market research to inform brand strategy and measurement from survey design, data collection to analysis and recommendations.

• Designs and implements predictive analytical models to enable brand strategy and business health measurement.

• Deliver brand health and consideration metrics and provide insights to drive brand activation.

• Develops survey instruments to measure brand health, momentum and understand drivers of consideration.

• Coordinates and monitors data collection and ensures data quality in partnership with selected research agencies.

• Analyzes data and produces brand health and consideration measurement and insights.

• Provides clear and detailed insights on how our key audiences are perceiving our brand and outline strengths and weaknesses vs competitors.

• Produces advance analytical models to understand drivers of brand consideration.

• Collaborates with brand strategy and in-market insights to develop opportunity areas enabling action plans.

• Assess the impact of signature programs on brand leveraging multiple data sources (e.g., Internal single customer view, 3rd party data, survey data, etc.)

• Develop playbooks and toolkits to expand best-in-class scalable brand measurement and analytics methods for MetLife.

• Continue to advance the culture of insightfulness and leverage of customer insights to influence strategies and tactics to drive business growth.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:

• 5+ years’ hands on experience in marketing research methodologies; needs to be an expert in the field and bring marketing science discipline to full spectrum of primary marketing research as well as able to provide strong linkage to secondary research and performance analytics.

• Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods,

• Research agency management experience

• Storytelling skills to turn data into actionable insights. Ability to communicate complex issues to a wide array of stakeholders.

• Practical familiarity with analytics and business intelligence tools and marketing/data platforms e.g., R, Python, Alteryx, Power BI, and other tools related to analytics web, digital, social listening, and CRM.

• Proficiency in advance Excel, and PowerPoint

• Knowledge of advance statistical techniques to solve specific business questions, (e.g., basic descriptive statistics, correlations, regression analysis, decision trees, neural networks, Bayesian belief models, cluster analysis, etc.

• Highly analytical, customer centric, and data-driven, possessing ability to use insights to frame recommendations and results into concise and actionable recommendations.

• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives and achieve results.

• Strong organizational skills with an ability to effectively manage competing priorities.

• Strong financial and business acumen

• Experience in insurance and/or financial services a huge plus

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to manage end to end complex multi-market projects from strategic alignment and design to delivery / insights activation.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science, information systems or business administration, marketing, with statistical / mathematical knowledge.Advanced degree preferred.

The wage range for applicants for this position is $103100 to $137400. This role is also eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation.
