Role Value Proposition: Proposes, researches, writes, produces, and distributes a wide range of internal and external customer correspondence communications. Develops, designs, executes, and evaluates internal and external customer correspondence communication projects. Consult with the business on appropriate media, communication methods, and key messages to use to best reach the target audience.
Researches, writes, and produces a wide range of simple to moderately complex internal and external customer communications. Creates and edits flyers, postcards and reference guides for our customers
Partner with internal stakeholders (lines of business) to ensure that communications meet business needs while conforming to our corporate layout, standards and approved content
Formulate key messages in a concise, meaningful and effective method using the most appropriate format
Develops creative and informational approaches for communication materials and provides guidance and advice to clients on the most effective methods and media
Acts as a liaison with design suppliers to coordinate design and production
May design, execute and evaluate simple to moderately complex internal and external communication projects including scheduling, editing, securing approvals, production and distribution
May assist with the creation and production of Department wide internal communications including newsletters, news and feature articles, e-mails, etc. Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills: Required:
5 + years of relevant business experience
Advanced writing and editing skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer skills, multi-task oriented and sound business judgement
Effective Time Management Skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Excellent analytical skills
Computer Skills required include an excellent working knowledge and use of the full suite of Microsoft Office Products, SharePoint and Outlook.
Demonstrated technical excellence in writing and editing skills, communication skills, consulting skills, and computer skills Preferred
Bachelor degree in Communications, Marketing, or related discipline
Must have sound business judgement
Must be dependable, organized and able to meet deadlines.
Strong team collaboration and relationship management skills
Creative, positive, engaging, upbeat and can-do attitude
Must be able to handle multiple tasks, set schedules and priorities to meet both internal and external deadlines.
