Description and Requirements

Role Value Proposition:

The role is an IT Finance Lead within Global Infrastructure’s (GI) Network and Hosting Governance group.

The role will design, implement, and maintain several net new IT governance initiatives aimed at making Global Hosting and Network Technology (GHNT) more organized around all aspects of finance, including ownership of optimization process, expense management, spending awareness, PAR tracking, etc. This will be completed through improved IT costing, budgeting, planning, compliance, and hardware tracking in several areas that have developed from ongoing growth and GHNT’s expanding scope.

Key Responsibilities:

Working in collaboration with GHNT/GI functions, the candidate would be responsible for:

  • Ownership and full awareness of all fixed/variable expense budget related items.

  • PAR review and downstream impact analysis and tracking.

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining new and existing governance policies and procedures

  • Development of a GHNT risk-based deliverance model.

  • Networking hardware asset lifecycle management and obsolescence (foresight, accrual, depreciation, and planning).

  • Non-technical Project Management of value-added initiatives, such as developing.

  • Proactive oversight of critical business application performance.

  • Contractual and SLA reviews of GHNT vendors and contractor companies.

  • Ownership of IT application access administration, vendor, and contractor management.

  • Collaborate with analytics to build operational dashboard and metrics.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, finance, accounting, or another relevant field.

  • A deep understanding of finance, IT costing, and balance sheet terminology.

  • 10+ years’ experience leading financial or governance related activities.

  • Proven track record of collaboration with cross functional stakeholders, peers, and team members.

  • Track record of operating with limited oversight and direction.

  • Ability to conceptualize an initiative and carry through to launch.

  • Ability to be a change agent and have others see the value in the work you do.

  • Excellent analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and change.

  • Strong excel skills.

Preferred:

  • An interest in learning basics of Power BI.
