Key Responsibilities:
This is a Senior position that requires strong leadership, self-initiative and drive, and deep technical acumen to lead and deliver on critical projects and meet commitments.
Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions to streamline deployment, configuration, and management of infrastructure and applications.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Ansible, Azure DevOps, and other automation frameworks.
Implement and manage the Ansible automation platform for configuration management, orchestration, and application deployment.
Design and implement automated server deployment pipelines to provision, configure, and manage servers efficiently.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand automation requirements and develop scalable solutions to meet business needs.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation, deployments, and infrastructure performance.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in DevOps, and automation technologies.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a Senior DevOps Automation Engineer or related role.
Strong proficiency in Ansible for configuration management and automation.
Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
Solid understanding of cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive resolution.
Preferred:
5+ years of overall experience in DevOps automation.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions such as Elastic, and Grafana.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and practices.
Certification in DevOps or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform.
