  • Foster collaboration and communication across cross-functional teams involved in the migration effort, including data engineering, platforms, cloud infrastructure, technology, and business.

  • Act as a liaison between the program and all stakeholders, with regular updates on project progress, risks, and dependencies.

  • Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies that may impact the migration timeline or success, proactively addressing challenges as they arise.

  • Ensure resource allocation and capacity planning are done and budgets are aligned accordingly.

  • Ensure DG/DQ standards are implemented and adhered to in the pipelines and throughout the process.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize migration processes, enhance efficiency, and minimize disruption to business operations.

  • Understand where matters must be negotiated to achieve an agreement that is aligned to outcomes.

  • Strive to serve the team in everything they need to do to accomplish the goal, putting the needs of the team first.

  • Experience with data migration initiatives, preferably to cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

  • The ability to switch from reviewing yesterday, running today, and planning for tomorrow.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and deliver results within tight deadlines.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Good understanding of data management principles, including data governance, data modeling, etc.
