MetLife Senior Investments Client Service Associate in Whippany, New Jersey

The successful Senior Client Service Consultant is a member of the Private Capital Client Service Operations team within MIM. The highly motivated professional will support, and help enhance, the client experience for MIM’s Private Capital clients. The professional will lead client onboarding, lead wide-ranging and impactful projects, and should feel comfortable cultivating existing and new client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight for cash and position reconciliations

  • Manage operational aspects of deal flow from origination through settlement

  • Produce and deliver timely and accurate client reports for MIM’s portfolios and funds

  • Effectively answer ad-hoc and/or follow-up questions from clients, investors, and internal partners

  • Lead the client onboarding, offboarding, and change management process

  • Lead projects to achieve efficiencies and improve existing processes

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:


  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.

  • 6+ years relevant experience in Financial Services or Investment Management industry.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated record of success in servicing institutional clients or funds.

  • Exceptional multi-tasking and time management skills.

  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word).

  • Capable of thriving in a fast paced, dynamic environment


  • MBA or equivalent preferred

  • Experience with Aladdin, Salesforce and Vermilion a plus.
